Josue and Ilene | A Ventana Big Sur Engagement Session
We had the perfect day at Alila Ventana Big Sur in Big Sur, California. Josue had a brilliant plan to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal at this beautiful, iconic location. We had talked on the phone prior to our photoshoot and came up with a plan to surprise her. When he knelt down on one knee, time stood still, the atmosphere was perfect, and as he proposed, Ilene said a magical "Yes!". We celebrated our entire photoshoot as we walked around the Ventana grounds snapping beautiful, scenic engagement shots. It was definitely a day to remember!
Since my very first conversation with Josue I knew we were onto something special. The weather was gorgeous, and we took a few shots at a place called "Sur Vista", then we walked to a huge Redwood grove called "The Redwood Cathedral". There we breathed in all of our surroundings, appreciated the moment, and celebrated with some more grand photos. The love these two share is evident and I know it is something special!
