If you’re looking for a Salinas wedding venue that is a mix of winery, barn, and mountain vibes, Rustique Wines might just be your perfect match.

Nestled in the Salinas Valley, right beneath the mountain range, Rustique Wines is the kind of venue that feels tucked away and serene without being hard to get to. The drive in is easy, just a single-lane road leading you out into the valley, and once you arrive, there’s plenty of parking on-site for guests.

The ceremony spot is one of the most recognizable features of this Salinas wedding venue. 

It’s set just outside the main barn and overlooks the rolling valley beyond. Most couples choose to say their vows in front of the large tree on the property, and it’s become the signature look of Rustique.

During Alexis and Will’s wedding, we were all keeping a close eye on the sky. It was one of those days where the weather couldn’t quite decide what it wanted to do… raining, then dry, then raining again. At one point we considered moving everything indoors or scrambling for umbrellas, but Alexis and Will were totally chill through it all. We stuck with the original outdoor plan, and I’m so glad we did. It rained for a few minutes, then all of a sudden, the sun broke through and it was gorgeous outside! A literal rainbow sat overhead during the rest of the ceremony!

The reception space at this Salinas wedding venue is hosted inside a large barn that can comfortably fit around 100–150 guests. 

It has everything you need for dinner and dancing, but the real gems of this venue are the cocktail hour area and the bridal suite.

The suite is located upstairs in the barn and has a huge window that overlooks the property. It’s one of my favorite spots to take getting ready photos. The light is always great, and there’s enough space for the whole bridal party to hang out and soak it all in before the day gets going.

Cocktail hour is usually held outside, and it’s always such a fun vibe. At Alexis and Will’s wedding, we had a popup cocktail trailer and a pizza-tossing vendor, and guests were absolutely loving it. It was super cool and so fun!
