A breathtaking Elopement in Big Sur on a private estate

A few words come to my mind immediately when I think about Katie and Craig's elopement in Big Sur: Elegant, Relaxed, Personal, Intimate, Stunning. If any of these word resonate with you I encourage you to read on and look at some of these beautiful photos of their special day.

When I got the call about Katie's elopement vision in Big Sur, I immediately knew we were going to get along.

"Yes!" I thought to myself. "This is exactly the type of couple I want to work with." Two people getting married on top of a hill on a private estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean with their two best friends? What's not to love about that!

She booked super quickly after our initial call and we excitedly began talking through the day. There was a very small agenda for her wedding day in Big Sur (which is my favorite kind of agenda): Hang out at the house, marry my lover, and have tea with my besties. A perfect evening. Yup, I'm totally there.

We did all of the above. Katie's friend officiated their intimate ceremony overlooking the bay and we took some stunning photos around the property during sunset. Mama Ruth (their friendly cow) decided she wanted to be in the photos as well, so naturally we let her *snap snap*. That was a win.

The four friends made tea, shared some snacks, and enjoyed the rest of the evening in the living room cozy by the fireplace. The atmosphere was full of joy, friendship, laughter, and aromas of tea leaves and cabin wood. I loved it. We said our goodbyes and delivered a beautiful gallery of special private moments.
